anyone want help with TSI turbo kit?
Catalyst is the only one w/ a blown tranny as i far as i know. as for motor, most people w/ stock d17 only blow head gasket.
I think i only hear about 2 blown motor (that is due to boost spike (I think)).

if you stay under 13psi and have a good fuel setting keep from detonating you are good to go. I Have been doing fine at 13psi and I heat the drag radials up everytime I do a pass. No tranny problems what so ever. The clutch will go out first.

I have two videos of me racing at the track in germany last summer if someone can host them. one is me waxing a mustang GT 5.0 with a full upper engine eidlbrock system and the other is me waxing a 96 civic si turbo hatch. first run I ran a 14.3 and the second against the civic was a 13.9 at 12psi. This was the first day with my new drag radials too. I love them so much.

Crewchief, what do you think the highest psi daily driven you can push (safely and realiably) on the stock fuel pump? I'm thinking before i do internals, i might get a dual stage boost controler and run 6lbs for low boost and 9lbs for high boost. Whatcha think?
