aight well ive been to the point that i can't take the exterior any further on my car so now im thinkin about the engine, i have an 01 ex auto, kinda been reading through the noob sections and it seems my steps should go tranny swap, then engine swap (k20), then turbo it, does this sound right or should i do it differently than that

i am guessing that you have a auto ?

therefore, if you plan on the a/t to m/t tranny swap, that is pointless if you are gonna swap a k20.

it all depends on what you want outta your car. but yeah, dont do an a/t to m/t swap if your going to do a k20 swap.

Yea the swap can be done, its fairly straightfoward. The K series engine is passenger side mounted, where as the D series is mounted on the drivers side, so the transmissions are not interchangeable. HOWEVER, you will need to add a clutch pedal. (which is simple enough.) If you need any help with the swap, let me know.
