Modifiyng a car, any car, is for the owner to enjoy, to have that unique ride different from any others.
There is two school of thoughts when doing so:

You can modify a car to race.
Racing cars is very expensive.
Pulling is very hard on a car, they go thrue engines, tranies, axels like nothing
You may need to strip your car to the bare minimum including A/C and hydarulic steering to get the best out of it
There is always the pressure of running harder and harder and to get low numbers on the track.
If you want a fast car like that, go all the way but not half ***.

Or you can modifying a car for the streets
Modifying a car for the streets is a bit different, the car has to be strong, efficient and consistant, at the same time fast for the highway and occationaly for the street.
You can only go so fast from trafic light to trafic light.
If you are under budget build your car for longivity and comfort.
Specialy if you planning on keeping your car for awhile.

And most important build a car that is good and right for you not for others.
Comparing dyno sheets and track times is pointless cause there is always someone that goes faster and logs better numbers that you, and it goes on and on, and on.

Just my .02

That's the way it goes with this hobbie
My advice would be to take your time save and do it when you are ready.
It takes time to build a good car.

allmotor can only hope to improve
people always want sti this or evo that but half the peops i seen or talked too have had tranny probs or r still gettin used to launching. I doubt a k20a swaped em2 would have tranny problems stock **** my friends rsx-s races every friday and beats the **** out of it and no tranny problems and he has hit 11,000 miles. Honda is best when it comes to reliablity and going n/a (toda n2 kit, headers, injen cai, toda valvetrain, powergetter exhuast, k-pro etc on a k20a or k20a2 you would def 220-230 and u would have a reliable car. Just wanted to point that out and i have seen alot of fwd cars like boosted tegs kill sti's in fact at cmi the best someone in an sti modded hit was 13.2. WHILE A HATCH HIT 10.8 N/A

if you want a good street driver, install the kit. Set it up for 5-6 psi and leave the stock clutch in there. The stock clutch will be good for up to 200 ft/lbs f you drive it like a street car (as opposed to a rice, uh, i mean race car)
