Exclamation VAFCII+Turbo= Complications???

Whats up guys, well heres a question for ya.
I have and apexi VafcII Controller (allows me to control fuel ratios) and i was in the market for a turbo..but i got to thinkin... would there be any complications to boosting my car. seeing as the apexi delivers +1% more fuel during Vtec? (even at 1% more fuel the apexi has given me a significant hp increase)

i heard that the vafc2 automatically advances ign. timing which would not be a good thing when boosting. but thats just what i heard

i dont see how it advances the timing.. you dont hook it up to the spark plug coil control wires...

it advances the ignition as a byproduct of altering the map sensor signals. Youll be alright if do not alter the signal that much. If you alter it to much to try to tune your turbo d17 to say 10 psi you might run into some problems.

Under boost the map sensor is at zero already has the injectors all the way they are going to open. If you add too much to the map you will get a check engine light do to the ECU thinking there is presure on the map. Hard to explain. You can use the VAFC to take out fuel close the injectors but does not work to add fuel. The map isolator makes the map see 0psi of vacume. The VAFC alters the map signal to add fuel. I hope this makes sence. I have been using VAFC2 and Boost for a year. I think I kinda got an idea.

Besure to use it only to fine tune, nothing more. Dont use it to lean out too much. It will add timing. Good luck. VAFC2 does work for turbo but only for fine tuning.

car runs fine without adjusting the vafc2.. im have rsx injectors so it pretty much stays in the "IDEAL" range of the a/f guage.. i just have it leaned out in the 1000rpm area cause its feeding to much gas there causing it to bog during idle.. but its all good now

yea.. it used to run more lean.. but when i changed the injectors out it started to run heavy rich and sometimes the car bogged at low rpms cause it had to much gas
