Emanage and FMU?????

Im finishing up the little details on my turbo set up. I have RSX-S injectors,MSD inline pump, aeromotive digital fmu and VAFC. But as I recently learned, the vafc is going to throow off my timing so thats the last thing that I need at 10psi. So im switching over from the VAFC to an Emanage. My question is...Is my Digital FMU going to be useless in the fuel setup if the emanage is manipulating the injectors, fuel curve, and ignition? Or is it going to act as an expensive FPR?

You don't need the FMU if you are using the e-Manage. Just go to Titan or SFP and get it tuned

Drk01Civic is an unknown quantity at this point
So would he pull the in-line pump and be able to tune with the stock fuel pressure or would you wire the pump to a switched 12v source?

If he needs more fuel then yes that would be a decent solution. If it was me I'd pull the OEM pump out and throw a Walbro 255lph pump in. If he isnt leaning out then there is no need for the inline pump.

well i just got another opinion that says that i can use the fmu for a rough tune and use the emanage to fine tune for reliability. any other thoughts?

I like SLP's idea of the Walbro 255 in-tank... A lot of people on the EVO boards swear by this pump so it should serve well in addition to your current setup.

Alot of ppl on all boards swear by it. You go to the Zilvia (240sx) board and every single place that will do engine swaps uses it. You wont go wrong with the Walbro pump, like SLP said

so would I be able to replace the pump in tank with the Walbro pump and not need an inline? I would have to remove the fuel filter for good too right? then need a FPR to tune the fuel as well?or would the emange do that? cause if thats the case it's just like doing the return conversion.

You will need to convert over to return style system if you change the intank pump to the walbro i THINK! This is the route im going. I've got the pump just need the lines, regulator, and moddied fuel rail.

You don't have to convert to return style but if you want to add more fuel you will. The in-tank FPR would be in the way.
