Actually, Honda does very few things badly. The car has some low points that can be fixed. The intake is too restrictive, to make it quiet. Same with the exhaust. But all in all, the car is optimized for what it is. That is why bolt ons don't change that much.

The stock intake is plastic to reduce heat and make production easier. But lets realize that on a fuel injected car, fuel atomization and dispersion are not as crucial as on a carb. All that has to happen is each cylinder get enough air. Thats it. Fuel is taken care of by the injectors that are each optimally placed.

Past a good intake and a good exhaust, the only thing to make any serious power are retuning, port and polish (extrude honing works well), and forced induction.

...well I read all 5 pages and I hate to say the same thing RiceBurner has, Josh has been very friendly and I have just been patient thinking if I wait and etc it will all turn out but I also heard the "2 more weeks I promise..." I feel horrible but shoulda known, my whole life is like that, so I better send back that 74mmTB and get my money back. Well I got my stock ported Manifold from Josh and I will have to tell him after all this time I still got something second rate for sure. I will have to wait for my camera and I wunderstand he did rush to get it done but I will have to ask for a refund. the welds are pretty sloppy on the spacer which is no biggie. the top plate one hole gets too close to the edge, the port work was very poor, the bottom plate you can see where he drilled two holes for the TB and got too close to the edge again and then flipped it over only to make more holes again only to hav ethe TB be mounted offset because of those holes now, AND I still see no place for the IACV or the ECPV to mount anywhere, so all of this wouldn't work anyhoo. So, I'm sorry if you read this Josh, I thought you were gonna take care of me and I feel left down to say the least after I have lost money on something like this. I mean **** I could go to a mchine shop with a D16 Manifold and have them make something better I would bet for cheaper and better. I will see what I can find out so I don't have to ask for all my money back because the TB is great, really but this manifold is terrible. I will post with updates soon...
