Jeez read the damn sticky dezod and I made!!!
Follow that thread and your car will work fine. Missing link is for a barometric error, nothing to do with VTEC. It's the settings on your e-manage, and your wiring.
In case opto sees this... Our ignition voltage is 12vdc not 5. Found that in my $100 service manual.

yeah sounds like you are trying to use the vtec controller with the emanage. just disconnect it from the vtec wires and put them back to stock. I got my ign. voltage at 5v and its worked fine for over a year. ah well lol

BTW - I don't understand everyone's talk about using the Emanage and missing link. The emanage has a feature called "boost limiter cut" or something, which limits the MAP voltage the ECU sees - essentially an electronic boost clamp (wheras the missing link is mechanical in nature). You don't need it if the emanage is set up properly.

If you look at page 11-18 in the helm manual - you'll see the denotation of "E," connected to each coil pack. This references a direct connection to the fuse box (which I believe is a 15A fuse). If you set the logic in the emanage to 12 volts you might damage something....but, by all means be my guest - its your car.
