Intercooler piping..

Ihave a quesions obout the routing of the intercooler pipng in the Sf kit,

i just removed my front bumper and there seem to be a sensor (maybe airbags)
where you have to bend the metal to get the intercooler piping through,

is this nromal??

did anyone relocate the sensor?? and where to??

mount your intercooler...then hold up the pipes, and you will see where they need to go...dont forget...there is some cutting involved in installin those pipes...it is just a little bit...but check out there diy or the instructions, and you will see exactly what i am talking about

i would but i cant see most of the images and stil, what to do I do with the sensosr, if i bend the metal i couldnt get the sensor back into place...........

Heres what i mean......


Intercooler hit that sensor.....


And the other sensor is in the way of the piping....


I what to know if they can just be relocated, or what are they,,,,,,,

That first "sensor" actually looks like a horn. I'm not too sure about that one. Not too sure about the other one. Can you get a closer picture?

they are all the same, there are 3 on the front of my car, there's those two and another one on the other side of the front.....

Put your ear down near them and have someone hit the horn for you. That should let you know if they're horns or not.

could those be from the car alarm (not aftermarket)?? i mean when it goes of, the horn sounds a lot different than the one you honk...

it is just your horn, go ahead and put your coupler on your intercooler and than put your pipe in it, it will be ok if the horn hits the pipe, mine does and that was 10 months ago and still no problem!

yeah i tested them those two are he alarm horns the one on the other side is the regular one........
