ahhh sweet...ive been waiting for this for a while now! How hard is the installation of the kit? Something that someone relatively new to fuel systems would be able to do? Also what else would be needed in order to tune it? Or does the fuel pressure increase with boost levels? I guess what i should ask is if it includes a boost referencing pump or FMU. Fuel stuff confuses me.

^^ahh i see. What are the options for a piggyback system? Ive heard the e-manage is a pain in the *** to wire up, and doesnt like our ecu very much. I also read that the missing link disrupts the code.

Any expected release date for the return kit?

Civic01vtec: but doenst the SAFC screw with ignition timing? So its detrimental to boosted motors. I guess a cam gear could be used too reverse the effects maybe?

Alright sounds good. I will forshure be in line to get a kit, so I can do my fuel set-up right the first time! Good job guys!

The conversion kits will be ready to go soon. As Wes stated, everything went very well with the install. We took pictures every step of the way and plan on offering extremely detailed instructions with the kit.

Pricing will be dependent on the fuel lines you choose. The base kit will include standard fuel lines and the upgraded kit will include braided lines. The lines will be precut to exact measurements and will come with all fittings in place. All you'll have to do is screw them on and tighten them down.

It was mentioned above that this can be done for $350-$400. That was probably a labor quote and not an actual parts quote. We are including the best parts money can buy in these kits. We are not going to sell you carquest fuel pumps that burn out over time. Here's a list of the brand names that will be included:

Walbro
Aeromotive (boost referencing)
Earls
B&M

You also have to remember that we are taking ALL of the guess work out of this for you. We are making it as much of a bolt-on as we possibly can. We'll release more information very soon as we are monitoring the kit over the next week or two.

^^^ Here you go:

From: http://home.earthlink.net/~micfly/returnless.htm

Most electronic fuel injection systems, including TBI and EFI, use a return fuel system. What this means is fuel is pumped from the tank to the injectors on through a pressure regulator with any excess going back to the tank through a return fuel line. This keeps the fuel system at a constant pressure for proper fuel atomization. Return Fuel Systems are easy to manipulate fuel pressure with the addition of an FMU (Fuel Management Unit). Basically, the FMU is an adjustable fuel regulator controlled by a vacuum boost reference. Under a supercharged boost situation the FMU will "pinch" the return line (increase fuel pressure) forcing more fuel out the injectors.
Check out the link for more dertailed information / reading.

It depends on how many fuel rails we can source. They are the hardest piece of the kit to come by so as of right now we won't be selling them individually. We are considering offering some money back if you send your unmodified fuel rail to us.

Wes- Looks good. Hope to see it turn out good in the end. I want to see your setup at the meet. What are you using to monitor the return setup wes? (Maybe I can get my ride at the meet if the turbo is on)
