Rep Power: 0 i dont think im going to do it. after researching and going back to the shop, it would not be worth it. they are now saying that would be the price if it were already stick. so basically add another 1500 to the 7500 they are saying. to me it is not worth it to spend $9000 just to have 220 hp. it would be nice and all, but it is just not worth it. i am just going with a custom turbo setup i think. im looking more into that now.

Rep Power: 0 i probably wouldnt convert it if i still used the d17, to much money for what you get out of it. i think i might just go turbo and get a tranny cooler for my auto. hopefully il run alright, lol.

Rep Power: 0 I am paying $5,000 for a K20A motor swap, parts, and converting my car from auto to manual. Using 02-03 SI axles. I just got hook ups b/c my friend is really good friends with the owner at the shop and i used him as a reference and plus they want to do a K20A swap b/c i dont think any one has that swap here in Kentucky. It's good if you know someone that has been dealing with a performance shop for many years. My friend have been deaing with this shop for 3 years now. If you ask shops to give u a good discount and sponsering their shop, they might cut you a deal. I plan on getting my K20A swap done in May 2005. Thats when I plan on saving that much lol. I had 2000 saved up but i blew my automatic tranny by neutral dropping But just ask around from your local import shops and getting a discount.
