Vacuum line

Two questions...
1. Where's the vacuum line off my throttle body? Which line is it? I can't seem to find which one it is.

2. How can you tap off the vacuum line... buy a splitter? I need to hook up the blow-off valve and wastegate to my vacuum line.

ok when the instructions tell you to do this,

"The vaccume line for the boost guage and the FMU and the BOV comes from this line."
WHat fmu is he talking about (the fuel pressure regulator that he calls the fuel kit)?

if you attach a vaccum line to the waste gate, you should really try to make the line as small as possible. of course with our cars, this means tapping it into the pre-turbo intake.

What happens if you don't hook up your blow off valve to the vacuum line? What if you don't hook up your wastegate to the vacuum line?

I dont know about the bov, but the wg wont be regulated and it will boost at watever psi. There will be no pressure to hold it at a steady pressure point what ever that may be. I think that some bovs dont require a vac line. You MAY be able to slide with out connecting the vac line to the bov, but the wg needs to be connected or ELSE. Take it from me, i forgot to hook up the wg vac line and the boost went way up to 10, my car is tuned to run 5psi. Be careful.

There are T fittings that have 3 nipples on them. Go to autozone.

if you have a manual boost controller, will the wastegate still play a role in boost? I'm not really sure where the MBC hooks up to...

yeh it does
the wastegate is the minimum boost you will hit
a MBC can only increase it. It can't make you run any lower than what the stock one is set at
