I just went to home depot and bought a bolt and teflon paste to plug it. Its basically a vacuum / boost reference port.....

The only issue with using it however is that you may get a pressure drop from your piping and intercooler - which means your reading wouldn't be as accurate as if you tapped the vac line off of the intake manifold......

isn't there suppose to be a fitting with a hose there that hooks up to the internal wastegate?

I doubt that tho...

The wastegate hooks up on the exhaust side of the turbocharger itself.. not the intake side.

Yep. I know. But where does the boost controller sit? Does it sit on the vacuum line from the wastegate?
