Guess what I got today??
I work at the Acura dealership here in in my town and I was walking around in the back where the techs work. And one of the guys asked me if I wanted to buy a k20 motor,(the 160 hp). I was like sure how much? He is the good part, since he can't work on the motor himself because of another project he goes 150.00. I was shocked
I said hell yeh! He said it needs some head work. But I was like screw it look where I work I know that I can get it done for cheap. So now I have a k20! I am so happy! Still far away before it lands in my car but I still happy as hell!! So gotta start looking for a tranny, and all the other goodies. It will take me a few months to get it all done. But I hope to have it all put in before Nopi! Turbo is going to be next year!! So any help you guys can give me will be great. I will be searching alot!!

Some head work, that may be a pricey project. If it just needs a new head, I am sure you can pick up a used good one for around 600 bucks ( not built ).
As for the motor, put a k20a2 head on it.

From what I understand it needs a weld on one of the cam gear screw holes. He said I can get that done for really cheap. Not sure if a weld is a good idea but gotta do some homework.

damn thats awesome man. but you are still gonna need the k20 transmission, subframe, and a bunch of other parts so dont think this will be a cheap swap.
