i am hoping to turbo my car some time soon and of course the problem is the fuel injectors... i know it is, or hopefully possible, to use the k series injectors... but i was wodering why not try itb (individual throttle bodies) setup from a honda 929 or 954 and use some rc injectors (i know i have to redo the injector harness)... but of course than the problem is the intake manifold... so this is what i was wondering, if anyone knows where i could get an intake manifold flange so i could try to custom build one

oh yeah if anyone knows for sure if this is impossible to do on our car then just tell me

don't think it's impossible, but you're gonna have to get quite a few custom parts.

oh yeah, and KMS has (or had) a civic coupe with ITB's on their all motor setup, you might want to get in touch with them

the itb i can get from ebay along with the injectors (550 cc dsm)... the only thing is the flange, a few pipes from the head to tb and tb to a larger pipng to the rest of piping, and i got to look for a fuel rail to (i want to try to keep the returnless style while runing an e-01 and emanage)... hopefully only cost me about $350 for all this... but then i get bragging rights to have be the first turboed itb d17 w/ cvt (until my tranny gets screwed up)

it has been done before, but not on a 7thgen. i forget where i saw it, but i do remember seeing pics of it.

yeah they are called the gti-r engine and a skyline gtr for the turboed itb... but not that many, if any, has done this on a car that is turboed... a lot of people sees it is only useful for na setups, but hell if skyline has it, there has to be some reason for that... and it is easy to do to the older hondas but ours has a plastic manifold so that is the problem... but i am going to go to some junkyards around here looking for the manifold and then try to fabricate something... for the itbs also i am probably going to use the suzuki gsxr 1000, which should not be more than 130

just got the throttle bodies for $96.25 shipped... but i am not sure if i should use this for my d17 or b18 side project... plus i just notice dh racing sells the part i need for $250 so hopefully with the next paycheck or the one after i can purchase it
