dumb question.. most likely.

i've searched around a little, found mostly nitrous stuff... when i get my SF turbo, say i wanna run 15psi or higher.. what do i need to upgrade to do this safely? and how do i know how high i can go with what i have upgraded? <-i think that made sense?

also, you will have to dump SF's fuel system and convert to a return fuel set-up with bigger injectors and a piggy back

Anyway, can't help you out with the rest of the question, sorry.
patience is a virtue. The SF kit is DEFINITELY worth the wait.

btw..was it you that said earlier that you didn't even know what a turbo is?

yep...found it.

well, what i am going through is not worth the wait. I could have built a custom kit and got a better set up with return fuel set-up in less time and less hassle.

very true. However, for the non-informed person, its simply a matter of waiting, getting the kit, and installing it. Done deal for them.

Ball hugging? Please.

I bet this post was simply from the "Should DH be banned?" thread. I said in that thread that i was simply basing my opinion on a business standpoint and NOT because its "DH".

My opinion on SF is a different story however. I only reccomend SF because catalyst is a frequent member on the board and is really helpful to EVERYONE. What other company is doing that on this site that sells a turbo kit?

At any rate, i'm not trying to jack this thread and end up getting it locked.

Cocky, you'll want to do what was said above. Get the block sleeved or a block gaurd (most would not recommend the block gaurd, but its cheaper than getting the block sleeved), a new clutch and flywheel(?), upgrade the head a bit, and some other stuff.

BTW, has anyone found out exactly how much boost the rods and piston can take? I don't recall anyone breaking their rods or pistons simply by raising the boost. I know some members on this site have upgraded theirs simply because they wanted to play it on the safe side.

i would use the stock Intake Manifold for now until it breaks, head gasket i would get one made from a good company, a return system would definetly be in order, and that would include the regulator, and pump, and a emanage or EMS by AEM, clutch definetly, id get some ARP head studs, PISTONS, RODS, u could stick with a stock head and see how long that would last, then ud need electronics

I DONT BASH SF, i do for DH
just like cambo who is here to inform, so AM I, there are other companies that make kits for our cars, they dont advertise here...so sue them.
AND THAT WAS NOT SIMPLY FROM THE DH BAN thread, it was solely from the post that u made, that SF is worth the 5-6 month wait people are waiting, OBVIOUSLY for the PEOPLE who ARE waiting ITS NOT worth the wait.

The webpage is quite useless, broken links etc, the website also doesnt help truehonda's customers who have been waiting 3+ months for their turbo kit.

put it this way, if you wanna run 15 psi or higher, you will need at least 10 grand........and that also includes tuning.

return setup isn't necessary, but upgraded injectors, fuel pump and engine management are. installing the fuel pump is a convenient time to also do the return conversion, though.

Like everyone said, Sleeved block, lower compression pistons, stronger rods, better head gasket, titanium head components (valves, valve springs, etc), might as well get a P & P and some kind of angle valve job while you are at it, better piston rings, upgraded injectors or converted fuel system, upgraded fuel pump, new clutch and flywheel, custom traction bar because if you can't put it to the ground it is useless....hmmm anything else.
