You can use the ECU or the sensor wire.
The ECU wire is connector A, terminal 15. A red/black wire.
To use the sensor though, you'd have to figure out which wire changes voltage with throttle position. My guess is the middle wire based on the electrical diagram from Honda, but I can't say that the diagram is accurate in respect to the actual wire order.

What's easier depends on you. The TPS is pretty damned visible once you pop the hood. The ECU u'll have to remove or drop down the glove box to access. Either way you do it....it's fairly simple.
