finally got it installed

just got my turbo kit installed, pics will be coming soon. but just to let u guys know with 6psi i ran a 14.65 at 97.2 mph. i don't know if thats good or if i should be faster, but thats what i ran. oh and its a t3/t4 turbo with greedy type s blow off valve, a small *** intercooler. it can hold up to like 280 hp, and a 550cc fuel injector that is powered by a program called split second. but hey it works so i'm happy with that.

thats not bad. just need to tune it correctly so you can up the boost and get a better 1/4 mile time. other than that, it sounds like a pretty decent setup

At 6psi you are in the right spot. I ran 14's at 6-7psi. I need to do some more tunning also. But you are in the ball park.

What were your 60ft times. Mine were bad. Too much tire spin.

550CC injectors? Isn't that alittle much for the setup you have? Any internals?

Look at his 60ft time. Once he learns to launch he will be in the very low 14's..
Up the boost and he is looking at mid 13s

Your 60 foot time should be a 2.0 for a good time.

He says he has a program called "split second" Which probably is something similar to Hondata or stand alone fuel systems that are capable of trimming down the fuel enough on those large injectors to get the car to idle right. You can run 440's on a VAFC and be able to trim the fuel down, but not 550's. He should be idling fine on the 550's if that program works well. What I wonder, however, is what he is doing about timing (unless the "split second" program can also adjust that, similar to hondata).

he clearly states that it's "a 550cc fuel injector", meaning one extra, not four replacement

you're right.... "and a 550cc fuel injector that is powered by a program called split second"

So extra injector in the charge pipe it is.

I can see where people may have misread that. Typo's arent exactly rare round here. LoL

The best I've got was without turbo, and it was a 2.2' 0-60'. Did it 3 times on one NIGHT (meaning the track could have been a little more sticky if it were dry/sunny out).

2.0 though, it's tough, especially on a turbo FWD car. I guess I could pull another 2.2 or a 2.1 one soon, but 2.0 with a lot of power is gonna be tricky.
