Porting Questions

In class today we were talking about ECU's and how they work and what they control. Well when you consider your porting your head it's giving you better flow meaning more air so the sensors would read that and have to compensate by giving more fuel as well. So in return this would put more stress on your stock injectors right? Also after certain stage of porting wouldn't your ecu go a lil crazy cuz it's gonna be reading way to much flow in the head than it's used to so would it not have to be re-programmed? I know it varies between cars (N/A and FI) but how do you know how much porting it would take so that your ecu wouldn't be able to compensate for the air flow and fuel.

You should have no problems with your ecu that I know of, my boss might know a little more about it than I would since he rebuilds them all.

You will have problems if you port too much, loss of power.
