What would happen??
what would happen if i install an SF turbo kit on m car, with out an exhaust (the car venting from the downpipe), since Mexican Spec cars don't have the second 02 sensor there would be no check engine light, but would the heat afect anything underneath the car??

it would be loud as ****!! and it will smell, make lots of pollutants and maybe melt/burn some of the underside of your car.
I wouldnt suggest it, exhaust will get in the car and smell and it wont be good for you either. My friend has a truck with the exhaust cut off right under the cab and when your in traffic with that thing you almost pass out from the fumes.

Si.

Yes. Osoboosted is right. In reality you don't need to run a full exhaust system. Of course, w/open downpipe its gonna be a little louder than if you were running a full exhaust. Depending on where the downpipe faces you shouldnt have too many problems w/heat or melting anything.
There is a company that offers an electric product that ou can use if you are bothered by the sound of an open downpipe and you don't want to drive your car like that all the time. www.quicktimeperformance.com/qtec.html. . If that link doesn't work....use the same address and select the product they call "qtec". Its a "y" pipe that connects to your downpipe. On one side is where the exhaust woud be routed normally...and on the other side is the part that will allow you to run open downpipe (this is often called a cutout). On the side that lets you run open downpipe is an electronic piece controlled by a switch that you can open and close. When it's open you can run open downpipe (and make more power) and when it's closed you will run your exhaust (whether factory or not), and of course....it will be quieter than running open down pipe.
so there ya go. hope that helps.
Well plz do run with exhaust everone. The air in my city sucks as it is. San Antonio is nothing but Hummers and Excursions which produce 5 times more carbon monoxide than our ULEV Civics. While I'm on the topic of poisons, you are all aware that tires are always losing tiny pieces of rubber, even when you drive slow. Try to avoid walking around in heavy traffic area aka a side walk downtown because you a breathing in mass amounts of rubber particles. Oh yeah, back on topic cars are fun.

For emissions.....keeping the cat and full exhaust would be more "emission" friendly. But you can get a cut out (whether electronic or not) and use that when you're at the track or having a night of racing.
I think that im going to get one. i like to go stealth somethime (when im trying to make it home after the 11 p.m. cerfew), but i loved the sound of my exaust when i had no muffler
