50 state legal turbo for LX
I understand that no1 presently makes a 50 state legal turbo kit for EX or LX. The SF kit will probably get CARB exemption for EX eventually because cat doesn't have to be removed or relocated. But the LX is another story altogether. Any turbo manifold has to replace the LX's exhaust manifold/cat combo. So to be legal, a turbo for the LX would have to be attached after the cat.
Just wondering if any of u fabricators have setup a custom turbo for an LX like this (man i wish i could weld
). If so, what kind of gains did u see?

why would a turbo go after the cat? lmao.
look a turbo needs to be the closest to the exhaust ports of the head as possible.
sooooooo
NO u dont put the turbo after the cat.
you.. A. put and EX cat secion on ur car.
then B. extend the o2 sensor wires so they reach.
end of story-

The EPA forbids removing, relocating, or tampering with a stock catalytic converter unless there is somthing physically wrong with it, or it is past 50,000 miles. Otherwise, legally you cannot put a turbo on anything but an EX, and even than there are issues....God bless honda for putting the cat IN the exhaust header......
