im about to order the sf turbo, i have a a/t. if i where to get a tranny cooler do you think the a/t will last with just that? or should i also get the level 10 kit and replace parts inside the a/t. the reason that i ask is i cant find a shop that will work on the a/t in milwaukee WI and all my friends have only worked on m/t and i dont want us to wreck my tranny.
im getting this cooler from BandM, SuperCooler 24,000 GVW (11'' x 6'' x 1.5'').

Do a search. There was a thread here about boost and auto tranny cars. I'm sure there's info there, or people you can PM about this.
IMO u should be fine w/the tranny cooler, depending on how much power your making of course. If you're considering getting into the tranny and reinforcing it somehow, you'd prolly be better of swapping to manual.
Your thread title reads 5 psi though, so i wouldnt worry.

If i lifted a bit on the shifts, it went fine. I can't tell you how it felt, but it was a freaken feight train on steroids. I know the trans took it like a champ, but the real question is, for how long will it continue to take it?

I have Torque King's kit now and am up to 10psi w/ no problems. Installed my DH clutch today and next day off will tune it up to 12psi.
Will post dyno when I can get the time to strap it down for a dyno run.

My friend who has a 99 turbo civic had an Auto tranny. It only lasted like 3 weeks at most before it cut out for good, and his engine wouldn't even run right because of it. I think ours may last a little longer because the tranny's are newer, but he was also pushing a solid 10 psi instead of your guys 5 - 6..
Haha, the 10 psi was an accident though, there were two air tubes on the turbo that somehow got switched at the factory (greddy) and it caused him to run 10 instead of the factory 6 - 7 psi.
