im planning on getting 03 civic coupe ex a/t since my dad never agree to buy stick
but i hate those ugly shift **** and shift board and handbrake too..
do u kno any good things to change it??
i mean any good shift **** for a/t??
and nice looking handbrake for a/t too..think stock handbrake for m/t is good enough
if i can change the shift box that will be great too
is it hard to change all these things??
let me get some pics of a/t civic that has nice looking shift stuff

There is a DIY to put a manual boot on an auto tranny (replaces the panel) and IMO, the MOMO Automatic **** is about as nice as they come. As for the e-brake... i really don't see whats wrong with it, but if it bugs you that much, there are replacement handles for that too. The e-brake is hard to change since Honda doesn't really want it coming off, I don't know about the shifter. Search, it's been done.

Your dad won't let you get a manual??? Thats seems wierd... I would think most dad's want their kid to know how to drive stick.

really?? american dad's do?? hm..im korean and of course so is my dad..
he has been driving stick for about 20 yrs in korea..so he knows that its harder
for new drivers to control than auto..in addition, stick is not really needed for
everyday drivers..he thinks ima gun if i get stick..which more likely causes chance of dangers..
i want stick so much since it looks way better and it seems much fun to drive stick..
he never gonna buy me a stick tho..so im just giving up early..
i envy those whose dad's want them to drive stick

Go check out my pics, search for my username... I did the boot coversion thing in my civic, and then got the MOMO black leather **** for my 350Z. The MOMO one is worth EVERY LAST PENNY. Best possible automatic **** available on the market. Works great for civic with boot conversion, just attach plug on teh boot to end of **** instead of gate guide that comes with it. VERY classy and a name that will stand behind its products for LIFE.

now i got how to change shift boot..
if i want to change the a/t shift **** and actually i wanna change it to
the stick ****..can i do that??
i dont think so since theres a button that i have to push when i shift it..
maybe i could change it by making the button lay on the other place but its
ton of works..so im just asking if theres an easy way to change
a/t shift **** to m/t shift ****..if somebody done that..
plz pm me or just reply..

Yeah I wasnt aloud to get a manual either. My mom said no way because I needed to be focusing of driving and not shifting. LOL, load of crap but she bought the car so I cant complain I guess. My dad, didnt want me to have a stick either.

I am also getting the razo auto shift **** and boot. looks sleek, but im having a hard time find the shift ****. nopi is giving me **** about only being able to get it in bulk order. i might try sounddomain.com but its alot more expensive.

My parents were the exact same, they refused to let me get a coupe (they thought it was "impractical"). In addition, they wouldn't let me get a manual transmission because they don't know how to drive a manual and they weren't about to learn (in case they ever have to drive my car, but my dad has a Benz and my mom will be getting a Beamer so that almost never happens. Although, I did say that I would only take a black car, and I sacrificed the EX trim to go to the LX trim for black cause I love black cars (if I had a garage full of 20-30 exotics they would all be black). I ordered the shift boot and e-brake boot from www.jujeracing.com. 25 dollars shipped (20 dollars shipped for just the shift boot). It should look sweet but I am not about to spend 50-100 dollars on a shift ****, not worth it, IMO.

Yeah my mom wanted to me to have an auto sedan. she said the same thing about the coupe being impractical. mostly because my sister had a kid at 19 and for her first car she got a new mustang so its a pain with a kid. i really wanted a black car too but ended with a silver , which was my second choice, and i love it. the only reason i have the EX thugh is because my moms boyfriend convinced her it was a better deal and safer so, it all worked out.

i used to have one in chrome. i had too much problems with it, i still have it actually.. stick with OEMs. or try the momo pic above. that looks cool.
