Hey, D, if I put a t28bb on there would it work the same (need new parts?), or could you swap the t3 out for it?

The T3 aspect will fit on the mani. The discharge side has a 5 bolt exhaust housing. Our standard turbo has a 4 bolt discharge. So that means there already a problem with the downpipe too. Not to mention each turbo is different in size and means the downpipe and the one end of the charge piping that goes from the turbo to the intercooler will be different as well.

so, what's going on with auto members turbo's?
i have a 02 ex coupe auto, and want to put a turbo on it. low boost, 4-5lbs, daily driver. for normal driving around town, speed is fine, but i hate getting on the interstate and how the power is so dead after 60mph, passing cars on small roads is a pain. all i really want is 40hp or so more, and i would be a happy camper.
would a t25 turbo kit and a tranny cooler be enough? if its a must to build the tranny and go all out, i might reconsider getting the turbo, i'm not looking to ever run higher boost than 4-5lbs.
any help and info would be appreciated, i plan on doing this in a couple months.
also, how is gas mileage? i get around 32mpg average, how much less is it going to get?
i'm looking for reliability, not all out speed.

I have an automatic 02 Civic Coupe EX. I have the T25BB TSI Extreme kit, and I just ordered the Profec E-01 and I am ordering the eManage from SLP this weekend. Haven't installed it yet. Will be a week or so, depending on how long it takes for the eManage to get here once I order it. Once I do, I'll do the 6psi and 9psi thing and post numbers and info on the tranny hold up.

whenever i hold WOT from 2nd to 3rd gear, the engine revs very high before switching gears, but it's still a smooth transition. i'm confused as to what would be causing this, because i've always heard that a slipping transmission sounds/acts different. it also happens from 1st to 2nd gear, but it's not as harsh. one of those bulletproof transmissions from level 10 sounds interesting.
OH.. also. once my car is in the overdrive gear, it doesn't shift to 4th until like after 2-3minutes of being warmed up. but sometimes it seems like a gradual transition, like i'll stay at 60mph and the rpms just slowly drop until it's locked in 4th gear.

also, i was looking at the kits from TSI, they have something like the "superior" and the "extreme". i saw the extreme kit on some websites and it runs 6lbs of boost, what does the superior kit do? is it more or less?
Don't get the Superior unless you plan on blowing your engine. Get the extreme from StreetLevelPerformance and go with the eManage upgrade for $100 extra. I haven't even heard of anyone running the Superior package on here.
Dezod has a better kit if you're looking to go with all brand name stuff

for those that have paid attention I am running the TCI Auto Master overhaul kit and torque converter as well as Driveshaft shop axles and the TSI Extreme turbo kit t25bb @ 12 psi and all I gotta say is besides needing a better tune I enjoy it and have even handed a few stock rsx's their own. After finding out they got beat from an automatic they were even more upset
