well it depens alot on how you thrash your tranny, and yes i woudl cause slip if you didnt use a tranny cooler from the start, excess heat or heat related issues are the most common problems for an auto tranny....
So you can go buy the biggest tranny cooler, you whant to buy...

First I would like to say that nothing in this world is 100% safe. That being said, if you have a A/T I would steer clear of the TSI kit. I just had mine pulled off because I was having a lot of problems with everything. What would make it safer on your tranny is to get an over haul kit for your clutches and seals and a tranny cooler. Also, I would not run more than 8 pounds unless you build your bottom end and get a tranny overhaul from level 10. You also know that even the new parts are going to wear out at some point and you will have to rebuild the whole thing anyway.

our tannys can take 9psi ons tock than slippage is noticible. Daily driven the best varient is 5psi.
Dezod is running his to perfect boost levels. This has been discussed so many times its rediculis.

if you own an auto get a t25 or t28 turbo a t3 will put down horrid numbers and have lag....
this is dezods problem with his kit. if ordering a kit through him ask him for a t25bb turbo instead of a t3 honestly it will make worlds of differnce dont listen to what these people say about bigger turbo!
no way your going to push 250+ hp on an auto tranny so get a t25 or t28 instant power at 2300rpms.
Anyone tells you anything else dont listen!!!! seriously it is stupid for autos
yes i said stupid..
say what you want I have seen t25bb 8psi run 170whp significantly better numbers than the t3 runs from dezod.
T3 and auto = massive lag and not worth it....
t25bb!
or switch to a stick shift!!!!!!!!!!

ya it does great numbers but dont expect to breach 250+ hp
Not like you will break your tranny long before that.
for you stick shift people a t28bb will give you that supercharger feel. You know the smoking the tires yup spools that fast

Cant wait to get my GT28R installed Where can i get a overhaul kit and a torque converter, what are the prices, how much power can it add (low end or high end?). Would it be possible for me to do it myself (with no car skill) or would i need to bring it to a shop (how much would it cost?)

if you send in the stock torque converter to be upgraded, it would probably cost around $500.. places like JMO or Level Ten could do that for you, just call for an estimate. if you are interested, I have my stock one I can sell you (I had to purchase a new one because i couldn't find a used one to be upgraded). an overhaul kit runs about $300 and costs about $900+ to install with labor charges because the transmission has to be taken apart... you definitely want a pro to work on the transmission. installing a torque converter only ran me $400. you won't get any gains with this stuff.. just piece of mind knowing your tranny will never fail you if you need to tow a boat or pull 20psi
