I kind of figured you guys would have gotten a kick out of it. I knew it wasn't a turbo, but I wonder if anyone was stupid enough to buy it.

my friend bought one for huis saturn. he calls my friend up one day saying he just got his turbo installed, he showes up with one of those, stickers everywhere on his car and some gauges. I would thuink that it actually blocks more air than it pushes in

believe it or not, a friend of mine actually made a very similar thing for his Prelude (his father works on boats - it is a bilge) and it actually did make power over stock ... Then he put his REAL turbo on a few weeks later - of course there was NO comparison but the cheap bilge pump did actually help him a little . . . you shoulda seen my face when he said he was installing an inline bilge pump on his intake!

I have to admit that it might work since it does flow air.

i havnt reasearched any of this, so i might be wrong, but i would think an engine sucks in a lot of air through the intake, a lot more than that little fan can push, and since that fan is in the way it will create resistance and block more air from comming in than it is actually pushing in. thats what i think, but i have no facts to back any of this up

"i havnt reasearched any of this, so i might be wrong, but i would think an engine sucks in a lot of air through the intake, a lot more than that little fan can push"

you have any idea how much "a little bilge fan" can move CFM wise??? and that blower they used on homemade turbo is a TINY POS (look at the motor!!! Is that an RS540 out of a RC Grasshopper???) compared to the one my buddy had on his Lude ... I'm not saying that this is the route for ANYONE to go, but in his ride it was better than the stock cheap ebay intake he was using ... it does sound real stupid on the car tho =(
