doing custom turbo kit, need help!
ok so heres the scoop, ive got a 2001 honda civic lx, automatic (go ahead laugh, i wanted manual but my parents got me auto, but hey im not complaining a cars a car
). i want more power outa it, i have the standard i/h/e for now, and i want more power! want to push maybe 200HP. i read the turbo FAQ and it seems easy enough to piece together a custom turbo kit, but is this truly all you need for the standard and simple boost :
1. Turbocharger
2. Turbo Exhaust Manifold
3. 2 Oil lines: from oil pan to turbocharger and a return line
4. Charge pipes (to bring air from the turbocharger to the intake manifold)
5. Wastegate (to prevent too much boost)
6. Blow off valve (to relieve boost buildup in the charge pipe when the throttle body disc is closed)
7. Modification to the fuel system
and what does it mean by "modifications to fuel system"? would getting a greddy emanage be enough with some tuning? i am planning on having levelten upgrade my torque converter soon so no worries about that, but would i need to upgrade my transmission? i was planning on getting a tranny cooler, but is it really necessary? oh yeah and a boost controller and would i really need to moniter any temperatures seeing as id only be running about 6-7lbs. of boost? id prolly get a t25 or a t3 turbo since they are nice and small, produce enough power for my purposes, and spool up nice and fast
. so just post some thoughts, ideas, comments, flames, etc. thanks all.

May I suggest an intercooler too since I didnt see it on your list it isnt critical for a basic setup but you will kick yourself later down the road since it does help produce more poor per psi since the air is cooler, and it will prolong the life of your turbo.
