The inline fuel pump is on whenever the ignition is on so what do you think? I would say gas consumption is similar to a v6 grand am only because I've owned both an SF turbo and a v6 grand am. Then again no SF fuel unit is tuned exactly the same so mine could be running richer than others (For proof ask MadWheel about his unit).

I heard SF's Fuel pump runs on boost so if you are a casual driver fuel should be about the same. But if you have a heavy foot your goona waste more the way i see it is More boost = more gas consumption

I have the SF kit and I'm telling you the fuel pump is on ALL of the time. Yes it does reference boost but Mike B. from SF stated that the FMU bumps the fuel pressure up by 5 psi even at idle. With the SF kit installed you will run richer no matter if you are boosting or not.
