lag is the amount of time it takes before full boost starts. Lag depends on what RPM the turbo fully spools at. Larger turbos have higher lag times than smaller turbos because more exhaust gas is needed to spin them.

I have the Turbo Discounters kit. heres some differences.
1. TD comes w/ a T25BB turbo. SF uses a t3 :the smaller T25 spools faster but supports a lower HP figure (325+ according to Garrett)
2. TD uses a log manifold and SF uses a higher quality equal length manifold.
3. TD uses to extra injedtors and a stand alon injector controller to add fuel and SF uses there own simpler system that I dont know very much about.
The biggest difference is that SF is willing to go the extra mile to make their customers happy and TD is a bunch of *******s...infact they dont even make the kit themselves. If you want the "TD" kit wich is made by turbo specialties international then buy it from www.turbokits.com

I am gonna keep my two cents to myself... Only because my fiancee works for SF
But if you have any qeustions on the SF kit there are also many forums answering them and you can also PM Catalyst or go to their website and ask there...It is still under construction but its up! www.staffordfabrication.com
