Question Help with Calculating Turbo Costs

I really want to get a turbo but it seems that there can be numerous additional costs added to just the base turbo kit. This is what I have so far:

1) SF Turbo Kit - 3000 (hopefully it will be 2900, not sure if i pay for shipping)
2) Blowoff Valve (Greddy Type-S?) - $$$
3) Spark Plugs (Denso Iridium IK20's?) - $$$
4) Gauges - $$$
5) Turbo Timer (Apexi?) - $$$
6) Electronic Boost ControlleR (Greddy, Apexi?) - $$$
7) INSTALLATION!! - $$$

Do these items cover all of the extras I will need with the purchase of a turbo kit? And how much of each of these items cost me? I want a turbo but I also want my engine to last as long as possible. Thanks in Advance.

I would check out their website. I plan on getting one in the distant future. Just look through the posts and see what other members have. And as long as you keep the boost around 4 psi, the engine will last a long time.

So i'm probably looking near 4,000 for parts alone, then 300-400 for installation.

Any other parts/additional costs i should know about?

u will need exhaust.....i suggest a muffler with custom piping (2.5-2.75 inches is the best)

about 100 bucks for the custom piping plus the muffler.

I bought a MBC from OhMySac for $35 shipped......that is all you need for now. You can save up for a electronic boost contoller.

Turbo Timer isn't needed, but makes life easier. Just sit there a minute or 2 to let it cool down.

Which year/model do you have that it won't lock?

I forgot about the exhaust, i may have to get that instead of the boost controller. Is a 3" exhaust i.e. greddy not good? Why/why not?

Oh yeah, one more thing i should ask. I live in NewYork, will it pass inspection?

the statement in there about the emmissions and o2 sensors is solely based on how i view and see my car running, do not in any way take that into consideration for your own car, basically im not spitting any smoke of any color, so i think im fine should i have had to get one
