yes, HASport has a mount kit that mounts the rsx-s motor into the 2002 si. checkout www.hasport.com

yeah, the vtec in the si isn't the true vtec that we all know and love. its a ***** vtec. where the k20a2 is just a beastly vtec.

the two engines ARE identical as far as your concerned, yes the heads are different, but since the head only touches the block, it doesnt matter, trannies are the same too, but you will have to mod the shift linkage for the sixth gear, and you can use the 5 speed, but i doubt you want to

HondaLuver will become famous soon enough
all k series engines are interchangeable with the heads blocks and trannies.

you can have a si block with a rsx S head and a rsx R tranny

its all about the series

same thing with the b series engines... everything mixes

Sure can.
myeverlovinsir has swapped the Type-S head and ECU and made a complete walkthrough of it on EPhatch.com. He also made video of it, he first ran the head swap with a Hondata flashed Si ECU which allowed the car to run in Vtec from 2200rpm all the way to 7700rpm(sounded mean). He then changed ECU's to the proper K20A2 ECU and the car runs like a Type-S now.
