"YET"... im sure someone with auto will get boost happy enough on the stock tranny to tell us the limit, just like one of us (cat or me i hope) will get power hungry enough to tell you guys the power limitation on the axles... LOL.. that will take low 12s atleast though

Thats exactly what I mean my biggest fear is my auto tran going out and it costing more than a swap would be to fix it. So when I go turbo I am going to take it and get it beefed up so it can take all that extra strength.

BAC7213's tranny just took a **** and it is now in the shop.......800 to get it fixed. And he only had boost for 1 day. He said that the tranny was going b4 the turbo install. Only 30,000 miles on it.

Bac is only one case. Take into consideration boostedciviczex and kingtorq. They have been running between 6 and 10 psi for a while now with no apparent problems. We believe bac's tranny was going before he ever installed the turbo.
Would a manual transmission benfit from a tranny cooler, or is that possible? Next thing we kno, SF will have a monpoly going on turbos for the 7th gen. They'll be the microsoft of 7th gens.

ok if it were a stock motor, the place where the bounce is, is already more than the car would put out total. IT IS NOT JUST VTEC, the TURBO spools fully at that time along with vtec, thats why the line just goes almost straight up
what is a/i

I agree that a good amount of mods will put someone where you are just starting to make hp. So at about 4600 rpms the turbo is at full spool? Are you planning on getting the dh-racing pnp head? I'm asking these questions only because I have the ex and plan on turboing in the future. Thanks for putting up with me.

a friend on here called them inquiring about the valves, they are not replaced, they are the stock ones just strengthed, and what not, i didnt even let the guy go on talkin, i dont want to know any more about them, also when asked about getting steel valves to replace the stock ones, 28 bucks a piece, holy GOD, i can get skunk2 to custom make me a set of valves at least 5 bucks cheaper per one, if not more, i also talked to crower in person, and they said they can take the head and do everything in it, and send it back, plus i hadnt heard of DH til they poped up on here
