Rep Power: 302 Weird but rare issue... A/f...
I'm getting rid of my exhaust for a full 3" turbo back setup. Apexi N1 turbo muffler, 3" mandrel bent from the turbo downpipe back... Now I know I need an 02 simulator. But I was wondering abotu one thing... My A/F gauge is hooked up to the first 02 sensor of the exhaust. If I do an 02 sim what's the point of having the A/F gauge?
Only thing I can think of is this...
Get an 02 sim for the second 02 sensor (in the Cat). Drill and mount the #1 02 sensor after the downpipe of the turbo and hook leave that connected to my A/F gauge.
Does this make sense? I don't want a CEL or a non-functional A/F gauge. While we're on the subject, where can I find a nice 02 sim?

Rep Power: 0 thats purdymuch my setup. sim on the second, but i had no bung to put the second O2 in, so i ziptied it to my front swaybar.
note:you cant sim it and disconnect it, or it'll throw a code, its gotta be connected/wired, but then you can put it anywhere

Rep Power: 0 your a/f gauge isnt accurate anyway. u think that ur getting real readings? lol i can get better readings sniffing the air around ur car.
they do not work unless they're wideband.
You should just chuck the gauge cause its just for looks.

Rep Power: 302 They do work, they just aren't as accurate. When I run rich, my car flies, if for some reaoson it hits lean (randomly) the car weakens and doesn't accelerate as fast. I'm messing with the Psi soon and want to make sure when I floor it, it stays green.

(overall) Lean means more power...
Rich means less power...
I agree, get a wideband, stock is ok but for real tuning you need a wideband... Especially at the HP levels you want to run.....
