parts for turbo

is there any big differenec between different turbo timers? i was thinking of getting the apexi to plug in guages, or do all timers have that?

and for an tranyn cooler for auto, what sizes will fit? or duz it not matter

i dont remeber seeing anything about a boost controller coming with the sf kit. how do electronic boost controllers work? like are there + and - buttons, and u just press them until it says "5psi" or sumthin? haha sorry kinda stupid qustion

for guages, where duz each ecatly plug into? for mechanical a/f and everything else electronic if that matters.

thanks guys, bros home so im ilmited on online time.

turbo timers, i suggest HKS type 1, i have it and its a really good timer, it does a lot more than just leave the engine running...i bought it cuz madwheel had made a thread about it and have no regrets!

tranny cooler, i bought a B&G tranny cooler for 13,000-16,000 GVW, which is more than enough, i bought it from jegs.com

boost controllers, i dunno, mine isnt installed yet and everything with it was in japenese, no english instructions, lol

tranny cooler i have no idea bc i dont have auto

electronic boost controller, way off, most of them dont read psi, the read bar, the apexi one u have to mess with %'s and duty cycle%, so there aint just a + or - thing to it

for guages, they dont just "plug" in, u have to know what wires go where on ur car, and what wires on ur car are what

i've got the apexi full auto timer...matches my autometer ultralites perfectly...has a voltmeter and a/f ratio gauge built in too...

on the tranny cooler stuff...i got mine at autozone..the smallest one they had...only 25 bux...just a matter of putting it inline on your atf return line coming from your radiator

i havnt installed mine yet...but it cant be that hard

I use and "ohmysac" boost controller. You turn it one way for more boost, and the other for less.

And the apexi timer is awesome.
