V-afc II
V-afc II
Just installed my V-afc II looks soo sweet.....fits so nice in the dash too, right below the CD player in the flip down cubby....looks like it was meant to be there....
Can anyone post the settings they have for the V-afc II?
I want to adjust the settings but not sure where to start.....

I realize that.....that is quite obvious...
Post what mods you have and your current settings...
some of these settings are quite confusing and it would be nice to
get a general idea of them.....especially vtec changeover rpm, air correction, and pressure

+1 correction for normal and then bump it up +2 when VTEC Kicks. I lowered my VTEC engagement point to 4300. Umatched Air/Fuel is 5% that is the stuff off the top of my head for right now. I will write down everything after i finish my buddies turbo install!

so when you read that, you could just MAYBE use some common sense and figure out, oh gee that would be best for my car!

If you really want to get the car tuned right, it requires a trip to your local dyno and having them tune it. You can't just eyeball it and guess at what "seems" right. Depeding on what modifications you have done you are gonna get a different outcome. EVERYONE's car is different. No one is the same so we are all gonna have to set our VAFC's up differently.

with this return system chescat, what do u plan on using to controll the fuel, personally i think u should sell the vafc and get the emanage bc it controls everything the vafc does plus more
I don't want the emanage at least for now....i have a cartech fully adjustable fmu that allows
me to adjust fuel pressure as needed....not to mention the emanage alone is 450 - 500 and the profec-e01 is another 400-500......
BTW why did you mount your V-afc II right there below the center console?
If you take out the middle cubby under the cd player the V-afc II fits like a glove
in there.....
I will post pics by this weekend hopefully....

Also I have to agree......to think that tuning a car with the V-afc II manual is common sense shows a complete lack of knowledge in the subject....
It is much more complicated then just the manual....

in order for the V-AFC II to work optimally, you will need to have it adjusted while it is up on a dyno for an hour. There are liscened apexi tuners out ther...just finding them is hard.
