bov q
probably a dumb question...
there aren't any bov's made for our civics ... probably because civic's don't come turbo'ed ... but yeah anyway ... if I were to buy a bov, which model should I get??? ... since none of them are actually made to fit our car ...
I was lookin at the hks ssqv and greddy type s

As far as I know 99% are universal. I have the SF kit and it came with the Turbo XS one. The HKS is really loud, not too sure about the Greddy. Blitz makes a really good one but there is no type of fit that it should be to go on our cars, it has to fit on the parts of your turbo set up.
For sound clips go to www.blowoffvalves.com
I have the HKS on my 7 love the fact it's a pull type BOV and not a spring type also the sound is great. Whatever you do don't base it off sound alone research the function of each you're considering and be sure you can adjust it as needed.

yes, a BOV is a must..........as the rpms go up so do exhaust gases which in turns, spools up the turbo and that forces air into the motor. When u let of the throttle (b/n shifts) the excess pressure is released out through the BOV.
