clutch question to those with speed
Just wondering, for those with serious mods ie. nitrous or turbo or tons of bolt ons and engine work....who's had clutch problems from to much power?

My clutch handles 5, 7, and 9psi fine, but it's an ACT. The stock clutch would eventually just heat up and give out. The stock clutch sucks, you just don't realize it until you get an aftermarket one. My stock one only had 10,000 easy driven miles on it so it was fairly brand new when I switched. So I can effectively say that the stock clutch just sucks.
You can have my D17 when I swap. (When and if)

so what you guys think about 55 shots on the stock clutch bi-weekly for a night @ the strip...sometimes running 75 shot?
Any info on clutches for our cars,,, how much they cost...and ball-park install fee would be appreciated.

as far as ACT is concerned, yes, they list it as
92-02 1.5,1.6,1.7L
all except DOHC, 212mm
thats the way the catalog states it

exedy has it listed as the same clutch as the d16 stage 1 and 2 they have clutch and flywheel racing kits but none listed for our cars
centerfoce dual friction clutch is garbage. had a friend with a d16 on boost and his wouldnt grab for anything in the world. my prelude also ran one. broke it in for 500 miles, had to boost at 5 Psi, held decent, turned it up to 7psi, went through first gear real quick, threw second, it was nojnn existant dropped it in third and let off. for a second i thought i was spinning tire and thought to myself "damn that was a huge gain from just 2 psi of boost." then the smell of clutch hit me and i junked it.
