Quick question, need help!!!

O.k. i've been out of civics for a while, I had a BMW... and my question is, If you do an engine swap, do you buy parts for the civic you have or for the engine you have... i.e. I have a 03 Civic LX, but if I do the K20A3 swap, or something like that, do I buy parts for the K20A3, or the LX, my guess is the engine, but just want to make sure... also how does it work for other type of engine swaps, like the CRX engine, mated with a Type-S head, how would you buy parts for that... O.k. hopefully someone can help me out with these questions..

Also one last question, What do you think is the best engine swap. For our generation of Civics, out of all the engine swaps you can do, which in anyones opinion is the best, is it the type-r RSX engine if you can get a hold of it, or is it the mating of the CRX/Type-S engine, or how about if you did the CRX/Type-R mating... or if there is something else that I am missing... enlighten me please.

i would keep your civic engine and buy a turbo and keep putting performance internals into it and boost the heck out of it. It will be less money than to buy a new engine and youll still be fast

JayFReaZy will become famous soon enough
i'd try and get the rsx-s jdm engine 220hp oppsed to the domestic rsx-s 200hp engine. Thats probably the only drop in engine I'd swap it with.
