Rep Power: 0 Finished my tranny swap
I will post more updated pics and info of my car I got rid of my body kit ordered some B&G's and I got a front lip, painted my headlights, all the good stuff. Oh yeah ordering DH-Racing crank pulley, no more a/c and p/s
*For those who are interested I forgot to include that you need a starter from a manual tranny*
2nd Update = My car is running fine right now no problems whatsoever, when I had my auto tranny I used to be even with my friend now I can beat him by at least 3 cars+
Update pics on page 2
Well I just got my car back from the mechanic and he said he's never going to work on another new car again, because of the wiring, I just finished swapping out the old tranny (auto) to a manual, total labor and parts probably cost me around 1700, the little parts get you so badly you dont even know it, and the subframe and axels are different from the car. I have it at my house, but im going to get a lef axel the long one from a junkyard around 80, my mechanics has hookups. He did my swap for $350 I also noticed the tranny didn't come with clutch pressure plate and flywheel, so I decided to go with the best since I am going to get turbo anyways. I got act, flywheel clutch and pressure plate, omg the car feels like it gained life. The acceleration is so much better than it was on my auto. On monday im going to get my axel because oil is leaking from my tranny. I will post pics tomorrow, you dont need to swap the ecu btw or the cluster. It works with auto ecu. Right now I'm trying to save money to paint the bumper again, so the ecu and cluster are no biggie. The reason why I decided to get the manual tranny instead of the whole car traded in because, I would loose money considering that I got in a crash and I have a body kit on my car lowered, 1 blown shock. And my hood is kinda fudged up, and I have a ton of miles, I would have lose money. The mechanic told me why is was so smooth, I got a 6 puck clutch and he told me that you've got a hydraulic clutch, thats why its so smooth. Pics will be up tomorrow. Here is a list of the little parts you have to buy-
Tranny $600
Shift linkage $free with tranny
shifter assembly $free with tranny
pedal assembly $free with tranny
master cylinder $free with tranny
slave cylinder $free with tranny
clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, make sure to get adjusting tool $depends
clutch line $free with tranny
wiring harness dash $100-150
engine harness $100-150
axels $80 not paid
subframe $150 not paid
*starter from a manual transmission*
Waiting on revo ss to come $97 incl. shipping - paid tornactive
I'm also going on monday to pick up the tranny cover, because they forgot to give me one. For all you folks that are willing to do whatever you want to you cars, no haters plz don't reply, I would like to get some positive comments. Btw it feels great, the only thing im scared of now is starting 1st gear since I've never driven a hydraulic clutch before. I will keep my car garaged until I get my axels.

Rep Power: 457 Dude, not hating, but why did you go through all that trouble? That's *a lot* of work to be doing.
Honestly, I would have just gone with the JMO torque convertor and saved the extra $1000 to put towards an SF turbo. With the new torque convertor, it should be able to handle the boost better and get the power to the ground quicker.
Like I said man, I'm not hating. I wouldn't mind driving a 5spd, but in the city it's a PITA and I don't feel like dealing with it. Congrats on the tranny swap though man.

Rep Power: 0 Installation took about 2 weeks because I did not have all the parts and I had to order some mounts from the honda dealer because some of mine were broken, and I had bought a 6 puck clutch flywheel , and heavy duty pressure plate. took about 4 days, and we both had to figure out the wiring.
