The guy is charging me 350 for labor and I had to buy new clutch flywheel and pressure plate, I got the act clutch kit that added around 400 bucks to the total price, and the wiring harnesses are a bitch, you have to get an engine wiring harness also. And the mechanic showed me my engine mounts that were broken so I had to replace like 3 of them, as soon as he took off the tranny the mount just broke in peiced thats what he showed me what was left. I also had to buy the ecu and honda flashes the ecu for 50 bucks for the immobilizer. There are a lot more parts shifter assembly and I had to buy the dash wiring harness.
do you have to change the computer from automatics if you switch the tranny? I know the cpu changes the gears in an automatic, so if I got a manual transmission swap will I have to get a computer form the manual civic too?
