I am not allowed to get one of those huge loud mufflers my parents say so i need an alternative for the muffler. I was thinking an eclipse gt muffler w/ 2.5" pipes all the way back and no cat. Would that work good? Are there any good mufflers for turbo that are quiet?

my greddy evo is 2.5 my DP is 2.5 and its not loud at all, at idle it sounds like the car has the stock exhaust on it, and while not it boost i cant feel it in the floor

all mufler's are quiet with turbo.. the turbo actually quiets the exhaust noise .

hmm no cat, straight pipe, with muffler = boost exhaust

its quiet man not like a n/a exhaust, it doesnt scream much, but boost exhaust sounds awesome.

C2i0v0i1c, are you running a pipe to one of your fenders for your wastegate? if you even have one, u using the tial 34mm?

im using tial 35mm and its just going straight down and its just open at the bottom. running it to the fender would have cost more considering i would have had to have more piping and then to cut the bumper screw a metal plate on there and so on. if u do an open dumptube make sure that its not dumping onto something, like IC piping bc every thing it hits turns black.

yea i have straight piping from my downpipe back to the TCS... the engine is louder then the exhaust.. it really sounds stock IMO

yea it was with my HP header and striaght pipes back to it .. it was really loud.
