Hello Fellow Chi-Towners,
I just moved here from Minnesota about 3 months ago, I live in Schaumburg and work in Hoffman Estates. I'm 22 years old and me and my girlfriend are out here for her internship for a year, might stay here might not. Anyway I bought a 7thgen Silver 02 EX coupe right before we left, Haven't put my rims on yet cause I need new tires so they are at my parents house, Just ordered a AEM V2 and I was wondering If someone could help me put it in, We are just in Apartment style town houses, so i have no garage and no Tools, I had a 92 LX before and my brother and my friend that races on track with his RX7 put my stuff in for me. If anyone wants to help me out it would be appreciated BIG TIME. We can meet up before the install just incase your thinking i'm some 47 year old crazy man.

whats up Bob, you should come to the meet here on Aug 6th. Check out the thread for it, right near where you live. If you can come I'm sure there will be plenty of guys who would be able to help. Plus there will be a good amount of stuff for sale. Not a bad thing when you just get a car. Anyways, don't be shy around here, these guys are really great and can help with just about anything you need.

Yeah I read the whole thread on the last meet, and I looked at the August 6th one, but my best friend might come up to visit, Could he bring his car? It's a 2002 acura CL type-S, he's got comtech everything, 1.5 drop with 19" rims, 40% window tint . Or would that be a violation? I was thinking about coming though!

40% aint nothing, i think most people darker than 35% get hassled, but you can see pretty good thru 40%

I ordered it last night and it's just ground shipping from arizona, so i doubt it will be here this weekend but it will be here next weekend for sure. *Crosses Fingers*

His Tint is dark you can see inside a tiny bit, the CL is dark regardless, with the black interior and leather it's like midnight in there. We were at the auto show around the fair grounds in the parade and i had the window cracked to my eyes. LOL. Fuzz never messes with him.

yep, i'm a little further down, by the stadium and the train station. Just used menards cause it's a well known big place.

I'll be there on august 6th more then likely, i'm about 95% sure I will, 100% if my best friend can't come visit. I'll know If he's coming by week after this one. I'll let ya guys know.

Bring those headlights and I'll check them out. I want halo's but i can't find them for 7thgen. Not sure what the cleared outs would look like compared to my stock.

Ebay has basically any headlight design for the 7th gen that I've ever seen. There are def. halo lights for these cars, more than one design. I haven't seen one yet that I really liked though. The TYC lights I think are still the cleanest looking ones for a 01-03.
