Thumbs up LED's In vents

What is the best way to hook up Led's in the vents, I know how to pop everything off, the problem just is how to mount them. If anyone knows what im talking about let me know what the best way is.

Thanks,

I'll give you some pointers at the meet. I've never done it, but you probably want to aim them up so they don't shine in your eyes. And put them kinda low. That way it glows without you seeing the led.

SlappyHooHah is right, I tried some LED's myself and you could barely see anything. I still havent gotten around to buying neon tubes but they seem like the logical way to go. Try and find the small 3" tubes, I think they would work best.

I want to say tube would be brighter, but I think the flex wires would be easier to work with as far as vents go

what is the best way to wire these led's, the power from the switch does it have to run to the battery or can it go through any power source?

you should wire it to a fuse that doesn't draw out too much power, we did it on a pre-existing fuse for interior neons. my friend did it and he made a custom switch for his LEDs. as for placing them. we used silicone. all you need is just a drop of it. the best part is that if you don't like it, it just peels right off without making any marks in your vents. but make sure to use very small amounts; otherwise it can get kinda messy.
