True that.. but austin/round rock has a higher price value than san antonio. more people are moving there since the economy is better.

Austin is like the Silicon Valley of the South so I don't doubt that it'll be lucrative down there.
SA is my choice spot though. I bought property in "The Dominion" last year and in a matter of a few months I'm already up a considerable amount of equity.
Vegas is starting to pick up again too though. I've been slammed here at the office for the past few weeks.

exactly. it's not necessarily austin, but the towns just north.. round rock and georgetown are growing like crazy! i forget the demographics, but the rate that the austin area has grown over the last 3 or 4 years is nuts.

The price I paid for my house in dominion barely gets you a starter home in Vegas, and in california it would barely get you a condo...
