Intake question

I have an 05 civic coupe dx and I just installed my aem v2 intake
Everything worked out after we finished but the next night my car started acting up. It wont let me go over 5000 rpm and then it starts to die afterwards. The car runs but there seems to be no power. The check engine light came on and I got it scanned. It said that the barametric pressure was the problem (code p2227) but I dont have any idea what that is. Does any one have any idea what the problem is? Thanks

Did you install it yourself?
If you did make sure you fitted it properly and try to reset the code.
What do you mean it said the "barametric pressure"?

that's not an O2 sensor. it's a MAF sensor, and shouldn't severly affect the car even if it's out. check to make sure all the pipes are on tight, and try resetting your fuel ECM (pull the fuse in the fuse box for some time)

You have got to be kidding. The MAF will severely mess with your car if it is out.

Hey buddy... There is air everywhere... when you're moving the air is also moving. Thus making the sensor work.

Although it may cause the car to act sluggish when not installed. check to see if this is unplugged first.
