Anyone in the SJ 408 area with T-Mobile
Just wondering if any of you guys use t-mobile. Is the service any good in the san jose area? Im thinking about changing from Cingular to t-mobile. Any suggestions?

AT&T is the best
Version is pretty good too..
T-Mobile and Cingular have the same reception, but Cingular has capicity issues (all systems are busy) and Cingular's internet is hella slow....
Sprint is good if you get the right phone AND the right plan....
NEXTEL does really good in all areas as far as reception and services but is a lil more expensive
MetroPCS is good if you can't remove your head from the phone and if you have hella bad credit....

T-Moble leases bandwith from Cingular's GSM network in the bay area. As for phone service availablity Virizon was rated number one buy cunsumer reports a few months ago, ATT which i use and like very much was number two. if you go with ATT GSM dont buy Sony phones they dont have very strong reception. I had a Sony T68i and i always dropped calls, or didnt even ring. then got the free Nokia afetr $100.00 rebate and it was all good, nver droped a call sence.

hey all.. i have a phone with cingular.. never run into probs in san jo area (im out there one a week or so)
and i jus picked up the sidekick (dropkick) but just using it for data... web browsing, aim n such.... so i can't rate their voice quality.
now-a-days tho.. they are all pretty much the same. so jus get a price plan that you like. there's no point in hassling yourself.. and sometimes.. IT'S THE PHONE not the service....
