Well it is finally here,
I picked up the motor last night from the freight company.
Let me tell you something...seeing that motor just sitting on the subframe, waiting for a new engine bay to live in is just about the sexiest thing i have seen for a car. That is one nice motor.
The motor itself is VERY clean, i am very happy with my purchase.
In fact, i am playing with the shifter assembly right now...mmm, 6 speed.
Anyways, what i am going to do is document every step of this swap with pictures. when i am done with the swap, i will the post pics on the internet for everyone to see.
I will give you guys the info as it comes.

estimated time of completion is set for around June, it could be earlier though. I still have to buy, an intake, axles, radiator with hoses, mounts, and the wire harness.
You think its gonna be hard for you to wait that long to see, you can only imagine my excitement.
About the test drive, i hope that was only partly true.
It is a very rare occurance when i let someone drive my car, and if it happens its because a) that person is my girlfriend, b) I broke my leg and need to get the the hospital.
I will though be more than happy to take people for rides in the car. Thats one of the big things that i cant wait to do...is see the look on peoples faces when the VTEC hits, and the tach goes to 8 grand. So that i will do for you...and tell you what, you can even ride shotgun.

I think i have my team ready and set for the swap...i dont want to get too many people in there, cause then it might slow things down. If something happens to one of those people though, i will let you know.
And i still wanna hang with you, talk about cars and what not. Maybe we can hang after i do my swap...we can go out and try and find some unexpecting GSR, or Si.

tell your friend in your Photo class EManEX that i will race him in June. I am expecting since our car is lighter than the RSX-S, and i will have intake, and exhaust after the swap that i will be around a 14.5-14.7 in the 1/4. stock RSX-S does 15 flat...we are 200lbs lighter, rule of thumb, for every 100lbs...take off a tenth..(14.8) intake is about 13whp, and exhaust is about 6whp.
I will race your hatch too...i dont know if i will win or lose, cause i dont know what you have. But im down,

so far ive spent $3800 for the motor with 6900miles on it, and all the wires, hoses, tranny, subframe, pumps, and linkages. Freight was taken care of by the seller. Not bad huh, since there are some on ebay going for around $5000.
I still have to buy the mounts, wire harness, intake, axles, and radiator with hoses.
I will keep you guys updated,
