Winter Mods?

Okay guys, it's getting closer to winter time, I'm wondering what you all are going to do to your cars. Put stock rims back on and pack away the 17's for spring? Take off springs?

As for me, about the only thing I'll be doing to make my car winter-ready is to take off the extension that makes my SRI a CAI. Going back to SRI since I don't have a bypass valve... I should invest in one of those, but no biggie.

It just occured to me that some people do things to their cars to make them ready for winter... even though we have mild winters down here, I was thinking that people still do -something-

i'm probably going to buy new tires with my next pay check. Hopefully before the raining season begans because my tires are bald. Since we're cali, we don't really have to do much just prepare for a lot of rain.

lol sure. Why would you want tires that are balding? Well i'm exeraggerating but there's probably only like 30% thread left on the front and 20% on the back.

There 205/40/17 though. If you have 17's they should fit.

I am taking off my CAI and I will hopefully be replacing it with a turbo kit. If I ever get all the little things I need and enough time to put it in. I might have to ride the bus to college for a few days. .

Winter Mods...

Spring and Summer is the time to modify the OUTSIDE of the cars...
Fall and Winter is the time to get inside, turn the heat on, and modify the INSIDE of the car!!!

I got a pic of my first 'winter mod', but it's too dark to take pics of it right now. i'll try and get them up in the next few days!

I don't have Injen, I have a generic CAI, but I'm probably going to put my AEM SRI on there

Then in the summer, I'll put the lower half of my generic on the AEM... if I can get them the same color
