Do any of you have the Bypass Valve and what's the story on it with installation? I was told there was extra modification to be done in order for it to fit. I didn't believe it, so what's you thoughts? i figure you slip it on duting installation of the intake.
P.S --> I finally got an CAI after like a million years.
I think I'm the only one who didn't get one as there first mod. Now I have to put that mother F on. Kinds of nervous about that one. I wish i could have gone to the meet today, but I was stuck with work.
Thanks guys

u dont need a bypass valve. waste of money. just watch where u drive. install is easy on an intake just make sure you cover the TB when you are working around it, cause if you drop something in there you are f.cked

alright, since no one gave u any decent information...here, bypass valves are a good thing to put on ESPECIALLY if u live in a spot where it rains and there are big *** puddles when it does...cuz yeah, i dunno what john is talking about cuz its helped me out..haha, u cant really watch where your driving at night mang...
. but n/w ways yeah, it helps..its saved me twice...and to put it on, u its a matter of the tools u got and how good u are with using them tools...all u need is a hacksaw. your gonna cut the top half of the piping. thats where i put mine cuz thats where they recommended it on the aem forums a while back..so yeah. if u got questions on putting it on, just pm me. u dont need anyone else to do it with u..its pretty easy. hope this helps...
haha, i actually said something!
