help! DIY
aah I need help guys!
i was redoing my DIY black housing headlights
everything went well, except of one thing
I got some goo off (thnx to aznvoyce) to take off some sap off my car, that went kinda well
I got some of that black stuff on my headlight plastic lens part.
thinking "oh damn, thats no good, maybe ill try some goo off to take it off"
well clumsy me, i tried some goo off, but i accidently poured a bit more than enough into the lens.
then i go, "well i can just wipe it off"
and then i wipe it off...BUT!
the god damn Goof Off ATE AT MY PLASTIC!
now the drivers side of the light is EXTREMELY dull(?) its basically not see through any more. (kinda like Extremely clouded)
what can i do!?
did it really eat at the plastic, or did it do something else? i cant get it off! (err..make it clear again)
does anyone have an extra set of OEM lights, the drivers side?
I fvcked up big time...
I hvnt put it back in to see if its really not see through... but im betting that i wont be able to see through it
Help!

Hey !!! I've actually been in your situation. Heheh, I fergot to mention that you shouldn't use Goof Off on headlights. I'm sorry and yes it did eat the plastic. That why I sold my OEM headlights fer cheap and bought TYCs'.
Check this b4 it ends.
Yes it's on eBay. But eBay is the best price to get it really cheap.
Again, I'm sorry that I didn't get to warn you.

same thing happened to me kind of.
I went to clear my headlights, and it worked great, but it was night time, and i was at the local performace shop, so i had to drive home. Thats not a good idea when the glue hasnt set completely. The headlights heated up the glue, and made fumes that etched the lens and the housing. My housing on both sides are white now, and a good majority of my lens is clouded like that.
I just bought projectors.
