Re: My first DIM w/ Cold Cathode in trunk!
A seller on HIDplanet is selling some TSX projectors for $140, but I don't know if it is everything I need... he's also selling some custom made shrouds (add $20), but apparently, the bulbs won't fit because it is missing something on the rear where the bulb goes in
And I went to "JDM Monday" last night and it was pretty cool. Saw some unique cars. Well, a friend is selling a pair of TSX projectors for $200. Is this a good price???

Oh, yeah, I just bought like 5 packs of those clamps that contains 2 in each package. So, you don't need to buy them

As for the headlights and silicone, I think it would be best that you leave the headlights off of your car for at least a day or so to let them dry. At the moment, I have my headlights sitting on the floor in the kitchen, in front of the refrigerator with the nice flow of warm air (not too warm though).

Thanks! Yeah, just let me know when. My lady is going to be out of town during Thanksgiving (the week of), so if you're free during that week or so, hit me up. Try to let me know ahead of time so I can make sure that I don't do this instead of going to work lol. I need money!
If not, then another day would work.

Do you have a garage to work in or somewhere where we can use the parking space for quite a while? I'll ask my buddy if we can use his garage. I live in an apartment...

Haha! Yeah, I'll ask my buddy and if he is going to be busy, hopefully, we can find a spot somewhere.
Re: My first DIM w/ Cold Cathode in trunk!

Re: My first DIM w/ Cold Cathode in trunk!
Hey if you get the set of tsx projectors with the broken clip, I have a set of tsx projectors without the lenses. I took the lenses off for my TFX retro and have them lying around. They're still in good condition and all you would have to do is swap out the lenses. I have no use for them and you can have them for free if you want.
Here's a pic:

I also have a set of fx projectors with lenses that are semi fresneled. I'll let them go for real cheap. You can buy the clear lenses made for these projectors from the retrofit source and have TFX output:

PM me if interested.

Re: My first DIM w/ Cold Cathode in trunk!
eh, tsx should be no more than 120. even TL price dropped down used to be 220 now is 180 or less sometimes and tsx is not even that great of a projector. its not the worst, but there are alot better.
Re: My first DIM w/ Cold Cathode in trunk!
u would think that they would be cheaper, but since we are in cali, stuff usually sell a little bit higher here, then compared to other states....

That'll work!
Well, i guess I'll do this if it fogs up again. Thanks!
